Here's some screenshots of a cubic room demo game that I am on with using Awakening
With a lot of scripting help from Vincent we've made quite a nice adventure game system, which has on screen dialog and inventory, also the cursor and control system used in the cubic rooms
the game pans by either left click and hold or by moving the cursor to towards the screen edges
cursors change for moving forward, take etc
look at items in inventory can enlarge, ie notes, cards etc
When the demo is complete it'll come with a tutorial
I used Truespace 6.6 to model the scene, lighting and cameras was done in Bryce 5.5 also rendered the 6 cubic images with Bryce, which are converted to DDS to use in Awakening
The main puzzle will be animated in Awakening
