It's not determinated for the release date, I think still need two or three months.

But you can try the video texture features in the alpha3 version now: AW3.5 alpha3

OGG seems the thing to use, most game engine use it.. flash would be on my wish list lol

The OGG is good, but no time to support it in AW3.5. How about the cubic room demo now?

A cubic demo with video?
I've been doing redoing the Skull demo, well rather something better all rendered in Truespace, the CubicCam widget works really well and now everything matches
But if you want something to just to show video in a cubic room I can do that tonight for you I have an idea which should look impressive

First try in a cubic room, its just a quick room, using a Daz character AVI.. about 10meg, 200 frames, no sound.. I'll probably update shortly once the AVI with sound is done

Just one thing Vincent.. if i "install" the scene, the player crashes.. but after you save the level its ok

Should the AVI's play sound?

The demo looks impressive, just a bit dark for the video texture. You can use a material with Emissive color for the box to brighter it.
If play sound with video, it's troubled when use multi video textures. You also can add the video file as a Sound, then play it by Actions of Command Target.
